Paediatric Cardiologist and Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Specialist

Dr David Youssef is a Paediatric Cardiologist and Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Specialist who completed his training in Paediatric Echocardiography, 3-Dimensional Imaging and Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension at The Stollery Children’s Hospital, Canada. He gained extensive medical training at various hospitals, including Gold Coast, Prince Charles, Tweed Heads, Liverpool Hospital, and Sydney Children’s network, where he focused on Paediatric Cardiology. Dr Youssef also holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Sydney.

Dr Youssef's special interests include:
• Paediatric congenital heart disease
• Echocardiogram and 3-Dimensional imaging
• Research into new and emerging therapy for Paediatric Pulmonary Hypertension
• Providing medical school education at both the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales.

He is currently a Paediatric Cardiology Staff Specialist at The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, working across both Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Additionally, he is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney
